Kapalua Plantation Golf Course
Managed by Troon, and host of the PGA Tour’s Sentry Tournament — as avid Golfer’s Brian and Sarah are excited to be getting married at one of Maui’s most prestigious courses.
Kapalua and Ka'anapali are neighbouring resort areas on Maui, Hawaii. Offering different experiences, Ka'anapali is a more developed and lively area with a long beach, a large resort strip, and a shopping and dining village.
Kapalua is where the wedding will take place, is located a short drive north and is generally considered more tranquil and upscale, featuring luxury resorts, golf courses, and picturesque bays and beaches like Kapalua Bay.
EAT & DRINK
The Kaanapali and Kapalua coast offers incredible oceanfront dining, from the legendary Merriman’s Kapalua with its farm-to-table Hawaiian cuisine to the beachside Monkeypod Kitchen in Kaanapali, Maui, for sunset cocktails. Don’t miss the Gazebo Restaurant in Napili for their famous macadamia nut pancakes (arrive early—the line forms before they open!).
PLAY
West Maui beaches are pristine and make this coastline famous—snorkel with fish at Napili Bay, bodysurf the gentle waves at Kaanapali Beach, or discover the secluded crescent of D.T. Fleming Beach Park. The championship golf courses at Kapalua, including the breathtaking Plantation Course (where Brian and Sarah are tying the knot), offer world-class play with ocean views.
EXPLORE
Venture north from Kapalua to experience the famous Road to Hana, or keep it local with a morning stroll through the historic Whaler’s Village to learn about Maui’s whaling heritage. The tide pools at Kapalua Bay and the dramatic blowholes along the coastal walk offer natural wonders right at your doorstep. Time your visit for a spectacular Kaanapali cliff dive ceremony at Puu Kekaa (Black Rock) at sunset, a traditional Hawaiian tradition that’s been performed for generations.

Activities in Maui
Mount Haleakalā
Haleakala National Park is home to Maui's highest peak. Rising 10,023 (3,005 m) feet above sea level, Haleakala means "house of the sun". We highly recommend this!
